This would be appropriate artwork for "Murder by Global Warming," in which the dim-witted villain (pictured) has trapped his victim in the house on the cliff, and is watching as the sea level slowly rises. (I did read one book, forget the title, in which the villain bound his victim to a chair at the low-tide line, thinking the tide would do the rest).
